First time

Never held a club? This is for you.

A good share of our guests are holding a club for the first time. It isn’t a test, there’s no dress code, and nobody will watch over your shoulder.

How it works

Four steps, and none of them is a test.

  1. Book a bay

An hour is the minimum and it goes fastest with two to four of you. One bay takes 1 to 5. Book on your own account and your visits count towards membership. Just here for a drink? No booking needed.

  2. The clubs are here

Sets for right- and left-handers, men’s and women’s, kids’ from 100 cm tall. Balls and tees are included, and your own clubs are welcome of course.

  3. We’ll show you the basics

Our staff explain the screen and show you the basics of the swing. A few minutes, and it’s included. For more than that, we have coaches.

  4. Then we leave you to play

We’re at the bar. Coffee, a cocktail or food come to the table in your bay, and if you want advice, just say.

Before you come

What to bring

  • Anything you can swing in comfortably
  • Clean shoes – trainers are ideal
  • Nothing else. Clubs, balls and tees are sorted
  • Your own clubs are welcome, of course

With children

Yes, with an adult. Kids’ clubs from 100 cm tall, so a five-year-old can play – and Scrapyard or Party Putt are made for them.

What we’d suggest

What to play first

An hour for two to four
Four people is the sweet spot, and the hour goes fast.
Closest to the Pin
Distance doesn’t matter. Nearest ball wins.
Scrapyard or Party Putt
Games that have the whole bay laughing. Perfect when nobody has played.
The range, with data
For when you want to know what your swing is actually doing. A camera records it and breaks it down.

FAQ

What people ask

Can I really do this if I’ve never played?
Yes, and you’ll be in good company. We have sets for right- and left-handers, men’s and women’s, and balls and tees are included. Our staff explain the screen and show you the basics of the swing, then leave you to play. Best start: an hour for two to four and Closest to the Pin or Party Putt.
How many people fit in one bay?
Up to five. The price is per bay per hour, not per person, so more of you makes the hour cheaper each.
Is there anything I should wear?
Anything you can swing in. One request: clean shoes. No dress code.
Can I just come for a drink?
You can, without a booking, every day from 9 to 22. Watching a friend hit the water is free.
Do I need an account?
Not to play, yes for membership. We count visits by the confirmed account a booking is made on, so without one you cannot reach Par, Birdie or Eagle. Book online and you create the account yourself, then confirm it with the link in the e-mail that arrives straight away. If we set the account up for you at the bar, the same e-mail comes to you: without that click the account stays unconfirmed and a membership cannot be accepted on it.
Can we bring a dog?
Yes, dogs are welcome here.
Can we pay by card?
Yes, card or cash, at the bar and for the bay.
Is there a cloakroom or lockers?
Neither. Your things stay with you in the bay, where you can see them.
Is it step-free?
Not quite – there are steps inside. Write to us in advance and we will work out how to manage it.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes, just ask at the bar for the password.
Can you issue an invoice?
Yes, for companies and individuals. Write to info@mulligan.bar.

So – give it a go?

An hour in a bay books online. We’ll handle the rest.
